E-Mails

This is the  first e-mail asking to be published. It arrived from Howard Heeley on 23/01/2002 and lets hope it will be the start of many more. (I endorse Howards view on Cosford. Second best in the UK?)

I attach a couple of pictures from the LE run out to RAF Cosford last Sunday (20th Jan). Just three LE's turned up, Myself, Howard Heeley on my Dad's Mk 3, my Dad, Ivor Heeley on "Goldie" a Mk 2 and Barry on his shinny Mk 3. Barry's son Chris kept us company on a rather big & bouncy 350 Apprlia.

In total, about 15 members turned up and seemed to take a liking to the cafe for the first half of the day! I am not a plane nut but I have to say that I totally enjoyed the museum not least of all because of the free entrance fee.

I hope you can publish the photos, if you want any more info, please feel free to email me.

All the best,

Howard

Le Velo Club stand Stafford Show

Two  pictures from Jim Wright showing an excellent display at the recent Stafford Show. I hope somebody watered the grass growing from the engine of the unrestored Mk1.
